UWMC SEPT 21-25 |
The Lecture & Fine Arts series at UWMC brings educational, culturally-enriching, high-quality, fine arts programs to UWMC students and the UWMC community throughout the year. The series features events that are unique, diverse, and often challenging in scope, encouraging audiences to stretch in their understanding and reflect on the concept of a fine arts experience. Besides the events themselves, the series often provides workshops, residencies, and special in-class guest lectures given by the artists; many of these are open to the public. Plus, the L&FA series offers outreach opportunities to community partners, through such offerings as K-12 collaborations and service learning connections between the campus and local organizations and agencies, creating opportunities for meaningful links that the arts are ideally positioned to provide. The events are either free or under $8 in ticket price, making them the best arts deal around! |

you probably will not be able to view the animation on this page. It looks very similar to the background picture here...but it moves and interacts with your mouse. It is an abstract movable painting project created by Justin Huebner. All background artwork on this L&FA subsite was created by Justin. Try the Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari browser to view the animation. Follow this link to the animated page. |
