Ginny Sims explores different forms of functional domestic pottery, and likes to put their cosmetic/ design side in discussion with the value of their use in traditions of the home. Her work is meant to be considered and used while it attempts to encourage people to cultivate a private dialogue between personal memories and the home, and the intensity that separates and often stitches them together.”
