Apply and Register

Before you can register for classes, you must apply to UWMC.

There is an online application for all University of Wisconsin campuses. When you create a new application, you will select which campus you are applying to.

• If you would like to take classes at the UW-Marathon County campus in Wausau, please apply to UW-Marathon County.
• If you plan on taking online classes and classes on campus, please apply to UW-Marathon County.
  
  

• If you are taking online classes only, you should select "UW Colleges Online" as the campus you are applying to.
  

UW-Madison Connections Program

The Connections program offers select applicants, who are Wisconsin residents, the opportunity to start at a partner college or university and finish their bachelor’s degree at UW–Madison—and hold the distinctive UW–Madison student status from the beginning.
