Re:Divisional Elections for Natural Sciences/Mathematics(4/17/00)

Present: Joel Case, Harvey Fox, Ned Grossnickle, Clare Hemenway, Theo Koupelis, M. Maheswaran, Paul Martin, Keith Montgomery, Arne Salli, Duane Stremlau

The meeting was held in the Physics Lab and started at 1:15pm. Theo shared information he received from one faculty members in the division, who was not able to participate at the meeting, about his preference in serving in a certain committee.

Elections were held for the following committees: Budget/Divisional Chairs, Evaluation, Promotion and Tenure, and Research and Professional Development. Individuals currently serving their first year of a 2-yr term in Appointments, Curriculum, Evaluation, and Promotion and Tenure, will continue. All votes were unanimous. The results are as follows.
