General 3-D Syllabus
Fall & Spring ..... Art 112 ..... Professor Tom Fleming

OBJECTIVES

The purpose of this class is to help you learn to see three dimensionally, think in terms of three dimensions and create in three dimensions. We will examine the concepts of design with emphasis on building a strong foundation in the organizing principles of design as well as an understanding of the basic elements of design. Little or no previous art experience is necessary. To accomplish our goals we will rely primarily on visual exercises and assignments. Because this is a "hands-on" class, you can expect your construction techniques and presentational skills to also improve.
